Rosendo Reyna

Rosendo Reyna, 77, of Sinton, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 9, 1948, in Rosebud, Texas, to Nicolas and Carmen (Contreras) Reyna, he was a lifelong resident of Sinton. For many years, Rosendo worked as a dedicated carpenter, earning respect for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and deep devotion to his family. Through his work and in the community, he formed many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Carmen Reyna; his wife, Simona Reyna; his son, Rosendo Reyna Jr.; his grandson, Josiah Reyna; his sisters, Anita Martinez and Grace Ymbert; and his brother, Robert Reyna. Rosendo shared many loving years with his partner, Ofelia R. Rivas.

Rosendo is survived by his children, Jenifer Reyna, Lisa Reyna, Randy (Daisy) Reyna, Eddie Serrano, and Ray Lee Reyna; his daughter-in-law, Rachel Reyna; and his stepchildren, Viola Moreno, Cynthia Moreno, and Esmeralda Moreno. He was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward. He is also survived by his brothers, Rudy Reyna, Ramiro Reyna, Nicolas Reyna Jr., and Eloy Reyna, all of Sinton; his sisters, Josefina Carranza, Linda Ramirez (Ismael), Helen Soliz (Jimmy), and Beatrice Garcia (Edward), also of Sinton; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Rosendo will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family, his hardworking spirit, and the quiet love he shared with those around him. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dialysis staff, hospice team, and home health providers for their compassionate care during his final days.
