Rosemary KeoughBorn: July 10, 1931 in Dixon, ILDied: March 8, 2026 in Dixon, ILRosemary Keough of Dixon died after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. David and Helen (Sullivan) Murphy and her siblings, Dr. Thomas (Jane) Murphy, Dr. David (Luna) Murphy, and Marcia Murphy Walsh. She is survived by her son John Keough and her brothers Edward, Michael and Dennis (Barbara Seguin) Murphy. Rosemary graduated from Dixon High School and completed nurses training at Passavent Hospital in Chicago and then worked several years as a recovery room nurse at Columbus Hospital in Chicago before moving back to Dixon to be near family and friends. She led an active engaged life into her nineties, and was able to live at home the last three years of her life thanks to the devoted care she received from her son John. We, her family, are grateful for the good care Rosemary received at OSF. A celebration of life will occur at a later date. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
