Rosemary Cummings Hurley, born on August 24, 1940, to Ida (Meisner) and Francis Cummings, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Rosemary found her greatest joy in her family. She was predeceased by her siblings Charles, Marilyn, Anne, Jeannie, and Edward, as well as her brothers-in-law Sal and Larry, and is survived by her loving sister Fran. She leaves behind her children Frankie, Dawn, Gus, Charles, and Evelyn, and her cherished grandchildren Adam, Robbie, Nicholas, Megan, Ashley, Brittany, James, Maddisyn, Shane, and Krysta, along with her beloved great-grandson AJ. She was predeceased by her grandson Jonathan, who remained forever in her heart. Rosemary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her devoted friend Jeanine.

For many years, Rosemary served as a school bus driver for the Bayonne Board of Education, where she was known for her care and dedication to the children she transported each day. A devoted Catholic, her faith remained an important part of her life. She was also an enthusiastic New York Yankees fan who loved cheering on her team. In keeping with her generous spirit, she supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Rosemary will be remembered for her deep love of family, her faith, and the kindness she extended to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
