Rosemarie Sicignano

Rosemarie (Tavolaro) Sicignano, born on May 23, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Old Bridge, New Jersey, at the age of 78.

She was the beloved wife of Carl M. Sicignano and a devoted mother to her daughter Rosemarie Vavallo and son-in-law Vito Vavallo. Rosemarie was a cherished grandmother to Peter Joseph (Nicole), Nicholas, and Adrianna, and a proud great-grandmother to Rosina, Ethan, and Julietta. She is also survived by her siblings Antonette, Dorothy, and Blaise. She was predeceased by her parents, Emil and Mary.

A lifelong parishioner of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, Rosemarie’s faith remained an important part of her life. Each spring she lovingly tended her vegetable garden, finding quiet joy in the earth and the seasons. She was deeply loved by her family, including her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends, all of whom will remember the warmth and happiness she brought into their lives.
