Lyons, 88, of East Greenbush NY, peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by family, on Saturday February 28, 2026.Rosemarie was born in Whitehall NY to Wilfred and Minnie Constant on 9/22/37. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1955. After high school, Rosemarie lived in Albany, NY where she worked for the NYS Telephone Company and met her husband John "Jack" Lyons. Rosemarie raised her family in East Greenbush NY during which time she was employed in retail positions at JanArt Gifts, K-Mart and the Coffee Beanery. Rosemarie and Jack retired to Hernando FL where they resided for 23 years. Following Jack's death in 2022, Rosemarie returned to East Greenbush NY to live close to her children.Rosemarie was a devout Catholic who loved caring for her family. She spent many fun filled years boating along the Hudson River. She loved to travel and particularly enjoyed Rome and Tahiti. Rosemarie thoroughly enjoyed spending time with others and hosting beautiful events in her home and on her boat.Rosemarie is survived by her children Paul (Tora) Lyons of East Greenbush NY, John (Patrice) Lyons of Valatie NY, Patricia Lyons of Saratoga NY, grandchildren John "Jack" Lyons and Ava Gamello, sisters in law Joan Lyons and Terri Constant and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, brother in law Paul Lyons, sister in law Ann Cotrofeld, siblings Barbara (Charles "Skip") Gordon, Diane Clements, Pat Constant, Richard Constant, nephews Mark Gordon and Mark Cotrofeld.The funeral Mass will be held on 3/21/26 at 11:00 in the Historic St. Mary's Church on Lodge Street in Albany NY. There will be a ceremony of interment of ashes on 5/8/26 at 12:30 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery on Schuylerville Road in Schuylerville NY.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
