Born on December 5, 1929, in Camden, NJ, Roseanne was a cherished daughter, raised with love and care by her late grandmother, Roseanne Mayland, William Anderton (Pop), and her devoted mother, Roseanne.A lifelong Christian, Roseanne's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in the parish of St. John Vianney, where she was a source of strength and inspiration to her community. Her involvement with her local woman's club further reflected her commitment to service and fellowship.Roseanne was the beloved wife of the late William Engles, Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. She was a nurturing mother to her son, William Engles, Jr. (Michele), and her daughter, Roseanne Garwood (Bruce). Her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, William Engles, III (Michelle), Bruce Garwood, Jr. (Sarah), Steven Engles (Gina), Emily Engles, Ryan Garwood (AJ), and Christopher Garwood. The legacy of her loving spirit will live on through her great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Jeffrey, Reese, and Liam.Roseanne's interests were a reflection of her inner grace and intellect. An avid reader, she found solace and adventure within the pages of countless books. Her love for crossword puzzles showcased her sharp wit and love for a good challenge. Her hands, always busy, created beautiful pieces of sewing and knitting, each stitch a testament to her patience and artistry.Those who knew Roseanne were touched by her kindheartedness and faith-filled nature. She was a fixture at her grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them on with unwavering support and pride. Her presence was a comforting and encouraging force, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Infant Jesus Parish/St. John Vianney Church, 2901 Good Intent Road, Deptford, NJ from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Roseanne's memory are requested by the family.Condolences may be shared at www.earlefuneralhome.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
