Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Philip and Mary Valeri. She carried the values of faith, hard work, and devotion to family throughout her life. Though she later moved to New Jersey to raise her family, she remained proud of her New York roots and her Italian heritage. A woman of strong faith, Rose served as a religious education teacher and prayer group leader at St Veronica Church in Howell, NJ. She was known for her compassion, her dedication to prayer, and her willingness to support and comfort others. Her life was defined by devotion to her family and a strong work ethic. She worked both inside and outside the home while raising her children and providing them with opportunities and guidance throughout their lives. Rose was married to her beloved husband Jack for 46 years. Together they built a loving family and raised seven children: Maria, John, Phillip, Steven, Catherine, Andrea, and Joseph. Rose enjoyed Italian Music, ceramics, crocheting, solitaire, keeping a meticulous home and Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Fitzgerald, her daughter Maria Louise McGuinnis, her grandson John Rossbach, her sister Anna Tropiano, and her parents Philip and Mary Valeri. Surviving are her children, John F Fitzgerald, Philip Fitzgerald, Steven Fitzgerald, Joseph J Fitzgerald, Catherine Fitzgerald, Andrea Rosario & her husband Louis. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren: Anthony, Nicole, Rose, Breon, Kyrie, Johnny, Allicia, Ronnie, Ashley, Tyler, George, Louis, Phoenix, Chloe, Olivia, and Alexa, along with 11 great-grandchildren and extended family who will continue her legacy of faith and family devotion. Rose will be remembered for her strength, her faith, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation is Tuesday 10-1 PM with a 12:20 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester and interment to follow at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
