Rose Rita Modica

We bid farewell to Rose Rita Modica (Covington, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 7, 2026 at the age of 86. Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Anthony Modica (Lesley), Ronald Modica (Cheryl), Joe Modica (Chloe) and Tricia M. Foster (Calvin); her brother Victor Gallo; her grandchildren, Crystal Couvillion (Shane), Jesse Modica (Carrie), Chelsy Karpa (Sean), Jennifer Morgan (Terry), Melanie Barton, Will Foster, Justin Modica (Lauren) and Jared Modica (Randi); her great grandchildren, Daylen, Tony, Jordan, Carlee, Cole, Presley, Drake, Charlotte, Bayler, Baker and Miller; her parents, Joseph C. Gallo and Rosalie C. Gallo; and her sister-in-law Norma Gallo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Lake Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
