Rose Marie Ryals, age 84 of Long Beach, MS., passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was happily married for over 61 years and widowed for the past 6 years. Rose Marie was a devoted, dedicated loving wife, loving sister, and a cherished mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She would give anything, and everything she could to anyone, especially her family and friends.
Her children and grandchildren were the most important thing to her in life. She loved going to church with her loving husband, and anyone else they could convince to go with them. She especially enjoyed vacation bible school week. She was always a joy to be around and went out of her way for those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L Ryals; children, Robert Ryals, David M. Ryals, Jerry W. Ryals, Kenneth C. Beard, and Harold L. Ryals, Jr.; one grandchild Lisa Marie Beard; one great grandchild, Harper Michelle Ryals; parents, Monroe and Ida Mae Stapleton; brothers, Floyd (G Joe) Stapleton, Monroe Stapleton, Jr., Ike Stapleton, Floyd (Levon) Stapleton, Robert Stapleton; sisters, Teresa Bursell, Margaret Shoemaker, Diane Alexander and Brenda Cuevas, and survived by, Rebel L. Ryals, Kathy M. Garner (Ed), stepson, Martin Ryals (Angie); grandchildren, Scotty Beard, Kasey Beard, Jennifer Beard, Emily Ryals, David N. Ryals, Brandie Ryals, Amber Ryals, Jerry Garriga, Dylan Garner, Phillip Darnell, Vanessa Darnell; step-grandson, David Ryals; Twenty -five great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren; her brother Mike Stapleton, numerous nieces and nephews' other relatives and dear friends.
Rose Marie worked in several positions throughout her life, considering her most important roles, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was proud of her family and will be deeply missed by all.
The family would like to thank the Staff at The Blake in Biloxi, for the love and care given to Rose Marie throughout the last few years of her disease, the Gentiva Hospice Group in Biloxi, and The Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport for their gentle guidance during this difficult time.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at The Riemann Family Funeral Home Long Beach Commission Road location. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, with interment following in Gulf Pines Memorial Park Cemetery.
