Rose Ellen Crum

Rose Ellen Crum, 61, of Wittensville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at ARH Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 27, 1964, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Mary Frances Crum and the late Benny Jo Crum.

Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her deep devotion to family remained the heart of her life, and she will be remembered for the warmth and care she showed those closest to her.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Frances Crum; her four children, Shaunda Crum of Inez, Kentucky, Garrett Stroud of Paintsville, Kentucky, Joseph Stroud of Louisa, Kentucky, and Brianna Harless of Warfield, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and her siblings, Brenda Preece of Inez, Kentucky, and Emzie Crum of Fort Gay, West Virginia, along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her father, Rose was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home.
