Rose Benyola

Rose Benyola

December 2, 1938 March 6, 2026

Shelby Township, MI

Rose Benyola passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 87. A devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful Christian, she lived a life marked by steadfast faith, unconditional love, and humble service. Rose had a beautiful way of filling every room with warmth the moment she entered. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness made everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and at ease. She possessed a gift for turning even the simplest moments into something special, expressing herself through lively facial expressions, joyful excitement, and the occasional affectionate nudge that spoke volumes.

Her deep faith shaped every part of her life. On July 31, 1955, she gave her life to Jesus Christ, a decision that became the foundation of all she did. On October 21, 1961, she married the love of her life, Jerry Benyola, after faithfully waiting on the Lord to bring the right person to her. Together, Rose and Jerry shared a life filled with faith, love, laughter, and devotion to family.

Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother who always placed the needs of others before her own. Her greatest joy came from watching her daughters and grandchildren grow, succeed, and find happiness. She celebrated every accomplishment, big or small, and remained their biggest supporter. Whenever her children or grandchildren told her they loved her, she would reply, “Love you, more,” and she truly meant it.

Rose was the devoted wife of her late husband, Jerry, and the loving mother of Michelle Benyola and Darlene (David) Lovalvo. She was an adored grandmother to Brittany (Angelo) Amalio, Ashley (Alex) Seley, Sydney Lovalvo, and Jack Lovalvo, and a proud great-grandmother to Olivia, Giovanni, Briella, and Lorenzo. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fannie, and her brother, Jack.

Those who knew Rose will remember her laughter, her compassion, and the special way she made people feel truly seen and deeply loved. Her faith and love remain alive in the many lives she touched.
