Rosalio Guevara ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home on Mar. 13, 2026.Rosalio "Leo" Guevara, age 65 of Kingsville, Texas passed away on March 12, 2026, in Kingsville, Texas.He was born on April 11, 1960, to Alberto and Josefa Guevara.Survivors include his sister, Patricia "Pat" Guevara of Kingsville; one brother, Alberto "Red" Guevara Jr. (San Juanita Esquivel) of Kingsville; one niece, Maricela Guevara; one nephew, Antwan Chappell; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was a devoted educator who spent many years as a teacher, a role he carried with pride and dedication until his retirement. Teaching was more than a profession to him-it was a way to inspire, connect, and make a difference in the lives of others. Outside the classroom, he had a vibrant spirit and a deep love for music, dance, and performance, often embracing the stage with a joyful persona that reflected his creativity and confidence. He lived authentically and unapologetically, bringing laughter, warmth, and kindness wherever he went.Even while facing health challenges, he remained generous and compassionate, always willing to help someone in need. He also shared a special bond with his beloved cousin, Janie (Jaunie), whose friendship, care, and companionship meant so much to him throughout the years. He will be remembered for the light he brought into every room and for the courage he showed in living life fully and unapologetically as himself.Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
