Rose was born on May 7, 1959, in Tewksbury, MA to the late Shirley Bateman and Charles Bateman. She was a proud graduate of The Technical High School. Rose worked as a housekeeper before retiring to dedicate herself fully to her family as a homemaker. She was known for her kindness, dedication, humor, generosity, and, above all, her compassionate and caring heart. She found great joy in spending time with her family and was passionate about her faith, volunteering, crocheting, baking cakes, cooking her famous fried chicken, and serving her community. Rose was a mother and aunt to many, and her home was always open to anyone in need of love, comfort, or a good meal. Rose is survived by her daughters, Taronda Soares, Teresa Soares and Nicole Soares; her son, Andre Luckey; her granddaughters, Kanya Anderson, Jewlz Prophet, and Tiana Germaine; her grandsons, Sha'Ron Woods and Shakur Woods-Clark; her greatgranddaughter Kamiya Burgess; her siblings, Dennis Bateman, Carol Jackson, Bernadine Brookens, Brian Miller, and Debbie Gordon; as well as an array of cherished relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Bateman and Charles Bateman, and her brother, Chris Bateman.
