Rosa Lee (Rosie) Renfro Juett, of Owenton died Sunday afternoon at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. Rosie was the daughter of the late Velmar and Barbara Alice Boothby Renfro. Also preceding her in death were her daughter, LeeAnn Juett Webster; three brothers: William "Red" Renfro, Leonard Renfro, and Phillip Renfro; and one sister: Jane Ellen Marsh. Survivors include her husband: Joesph Martin Juett; daughter: Dana Lynn Juett Dixon (Gary) of Berea; and sons: Joe Juett II of Owenton and Dominic Juett of Owenton. Brothers: Johnnie Hill of New Liberty, Velmar Jr. "Bumper" Renfro of Owenton, Marty Renfro of Owenton, Don Renfro of Owenton, and Jackie Renfro of Owenton. Sisters: Sarah McCormick of Owenton, Fannie B. Dews of Cincinnati, Faye Swiger of Frankfort, Shirley Moore of Owenton, Barbara Wainscott of Owenton, and Roxanne Bennett of Owenton. Grandchildren: Jordan Osborne of Owenton; Anastasia Nicole (Annie) Juett of Owenton; and Triston (TJ) Juett of Owenton.Rosie's family was her greatest treasure. She will always be remembered for baking everyone their favorite dessert for their birthdays and filling the holiday desert table with a variety of delicious sweets. Besides cooking, Rosie loved fishing, her fill in word books and working in her flowers. When you were in the car with her, you never knew when she might pull over to dig up some flower variety she didn't currently have in her collection, and she was always willing to share them with others. Rosie was also a dedicated member of the Hesler Assembly of God Church and was devoted to her faith. During her idle time, Rosie enjoyed playing games on her tablet and watching old westerns and murder mysteries.Friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate Rosie's life at New Funeral Homes, located at 202 N. Main Street, Owenton, KY 40359. Visitation will be held on March 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM followed immediately by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Richland Church Cemetery with Bro. Danny Duvall officiating. In honor of Rosie's love of animals, the family is requesting memorial contributions may be made to Owen County Friends of Animals.
