Ronny Gerald Clemons

Ronny Gerald Clemons

Crosby, TX

Ronny Gerald Clemons, 68, of Crosby, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on November 14, 1957, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Harold Edward Clemons and Velma Faye Birmingham, Ronny lived a life marked by hard work, quiet generosity, and a deep love for family and friends. Known affectionately as “Cowboy” or “Uncle Boo,” he found joy in life’s simple pleasures and took pride in sharing them with those around him.

Ronny dedicated many years to his career at Exxon before retiring. He then operated an air conditioning business from his large shop alongside his best friend John, where he spent countless hours on projects and helping others. A true outdoorsman, he cherished his farm, where he raised cattle and kept horses. He loved fishing in the pond on his property, often inviting family and friends to join him, and enjoyed hunting as well. Ronny was also known for his barbecues and for cooking what many considered the best fried turkey around. He loved to dance, play pool, listen to music, and spend time in good company. These passions began in childhood, when he spent his days camping, fishing, boating, riding dirt bikes, and hunting.

Above all, Ronny cherished his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in teaching them new things and sharing time with them. He also dearly loved his dog, Deisel, and his cat, Sol, who were his constant companions. A resident of Crosby for over thirty years, he built a life rich in meaningful friendships and strong community ties, sharing many cherished memories with his close friends and neighbors, John and Frances Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Edward Clemons and Velma Faye Birmingham; his grandchild, Kaci Dee’Ann Sthram; and his niece, Angela Renee Speegle. Ronny is survived by his children, Jason Clemons and wife Audrey, Nicki Sthram and husband Keith, Carly Clemons and Jostein; his brother, Carl Deason; sisters, Rita Hankey and husband David, Sherry Cron, and Lisa Naska and husband Bennie; and his beloved grandchildren, Kaicen, Kyndra, Zachary, Jesse, Mason, and Jameson, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, love for the outdoors, and the many good times shared with family and friends. His memory will live on in the stories, lessons, and laughter he leaves behind.
