He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Arms and Georgia Edna Dye Arms; his son Jeffery Allen Armes; and his siblings, Helen Arms, Thelma Arms Newberry, Alice Damron, Roger Arms, Harvey Plaster, Hassel Arms of Glen Arms, J. B, Don Arms, Jerry Arms, Perry Arms and Kenneth Arms.

He is survived by: his wife Iris Armes; his children, Anthony Armes and Julia Napier (Jarid); his granddaughter Ava Grace Napier; his sister Gaynell Casey; and his sibling's children, Randall "Chuck" Boyd (Melia), Donnie Armes (Dora), Eugene Boyd, Jr., Patsy Ruegg (Doug), Jean Armes Hurt and Shelly Armes Foster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
