Ron was born November 28, 1937 in the Bronx, NY. He was the son of Willy and Marian (Szuper) Tamoschat.He married the love of his life, Marilyn (Luzietti) Tamoschat on September 11, 1971 and spent many wonderful years with her.Ron was a graduate of Fordham Preparatory School and Fordham University School of Business. He was also a graduate of G.E's Financial Management Training program and spent his entire 33 years career at G.E. , retiring as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Operation at G.E.'s Silicone Productions Division in Waterford, NY.Ron was a Vietnam-era veteran serving in the active Army and the active reserve 1961 – 1965, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6 in 32 months.Ron was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the Collegiate School of Business Honor Society, Mohawk Post 1450 American Legion, a charter member of the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard, Sportsman's Club of Clifton Park and the G.E. Elfun Society.Ron's interests included Military History and martial music and ordinances of all types. He has a special interest in the Civil War and visited and revisited many of the major battlefields. Ron also enjoyed pistol target shooting, vigorous physical exercise and was a qualified parachutist.Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Luzietti) Tamoschat, his daughter Rebecca Paderon (Jeoffrey), his grandchildren Marcus and Abigail Paderon and his sister Ilena Budde. He is also survived by a niece, nephew and several cousins.A calling period for Ron will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10am to 11am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 2216 Rosa Rd, Schenectady, NY 12309. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at the church. Interment with military honors will follow at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ron's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
