He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Richard Lowe and Viola Lowe (Kaemmerer); and his siblings, Dorothy Lowe (Raymond), Kenneth Lowe (Mack), Richard Lowe (Arlou) and Robert Lowe.

He is survived by: his children, Denise Clayton (Shawn), Donna Findlay (Mike) and Douglas Lowe (Geri); his grandchildren, Travis Clayton, Jackie McElhoe (Jake), Kyle Sauerwein (Nicole), Sarah Lowe, Austin Clayton, Jaymee Froese (Miles), Brett Sauerwein (Kaleigh) and Jake Lowe (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Raina Froese, Maya McElhoe, Claire Clayton, Sophia Sauerwein, Tayla McElhoe, Ender Froese, Koah McElhoe, Zoe Sauerwein and Oliver Froese; his sister-in-law Jeanette Lowe; and his family Ron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home and Cremation Services (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
