Ronald Lee Gist

Ronald Lee Gist, 88, of Russells Point, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026, at his home.

Born on October 28, 1937, in Springfield, Ohio, Ronald was the son of the late Phillip C. and Garnet L. (Skaggs) Gist. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and James.

A veteran of the United States Navy who served during the Korean War, Ronald was known for his love of tinkering and fixing things. He is survived by his three children, Brenda Sue Nolin of Stuart, Florida, Sharon Lynn Schultz of Hubbard, Ohio, and Linda Lee Hilbert of Winchester, Virginia, as well as six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Inurnment will take place at Winchester National Cemetery at a later date.
