Ronald "Wesley" Lasitter Jr.

May 11, 1943 March 5, 2026

St. Cloud, FL

Ronald "Wesley" Lasitter Jr., beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by his wife and loving family. He was 82.

Born on May 11, 1943, in Kissimmee, Florida, to the late Ronald Wesley Lasitter Sr. and Ettie Bea Lasitter, Wesley lived in St. Cloud with his wife Carol and their two cherished Jack Russell terriers, Dixie and Spicey. Dixie, in particular, remained his loyal companion for 18 years.

A master sheet metal fabricator, Wesley proudly owned and operated Florida Custom Fabricators, Inc. for 27 years. His exceptional craftsmanship is displayed in homes, ranches, and projects throughout the local area, across the United States, and overseas. He found deep peace and closeness to God in the woods, hunting, air boating, gardening, and spending time in nature and the mountains, surrounded by animals.

In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his brother Charles Oscar Lasitter and his son Robert Lasitter. He is survived by his wife, Carol D'Avella Lasitter; his brother Jimmie Lasitter and sister Helen McWhirter; his children Margaret Boyd, Ronnie Lasitter, Angie Tucker and their spouses Mark Boyd, Robin Lasitter, Bill Tucker, and daughter-in-law Ginny Lasitter; his grandchildren Robert Douglas Lasitter, Mark Boyd, Mathew Tucker, Marissa Boyd Howard, McKenzie Tucker, April Lasitter Presley and Brittany Lasitter Hajecate; and great-grandchildren Madison, Margaret, AJ, Edward Wesley, Elijah, Ethan, Beau, Tripp and Trace. Those who knew Wesley remember him as a devoted family man and steadfast friend whose kindness, generosity, and humility touched countless lives.
