He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Ray Lane and Shirley Grose Lane; his brother Tommy Grose (Tombo); his uncle Tommy Grose; and his grandparents, Thomas Grose and Bonnie Grose.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Lane; his children, Ray Lane and Wendy Michele Lane of Thomasville, NC; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Leah and Raelynn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Berwind Pentecostal Christian Center (3363 Rift Berwind Rd, Berwind, WV 24815). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
