Ronald Fleischman, 78 years old entered into eternal life on Friday, March 6th, 2026. He was born Feb 27th, 1948, in Fond du Lac WI. The son of Arthur and Lorraine Fleischman. He attended St Mary’s grade school and a couple years at St Mary’s Springs. He was part of the 1st class to graduate from the new Superior High School in 1966.
He married the love of his life, Delores (Dee) Bartelt on Nov 1st, 1965, in Bessimer MI. Ron loved playing softball for many years. He loved golfing and bowling until back problems slowed him down in his 50’s. He still snuck a few rounds in at the par 3 course and was proud to have gotten his first hole in one at the age of 70. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan but the team he liked best was the Fond du Lac Bears hockey team where he was a season ticket holder for years, missing very few games in the past 45 years as a fan. He loved fishing and enjoyed his time out on the boat. After retirement he took up woodworking as a hobby and enjoyed building wooden models. He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart and enjoyed traveling with his wife after retirement. He was a member of Presentation Church where he ushered and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Ron is survived by his wife Dee as well as his sons Robert (Karen) Fleischman, Plymouth. James (Michelle) Fleischman, New Holstein, WI. Grandchildren Nick and Sadie Fleischman, Alex (Desiree) Keys. He is also survived by his brother’s special friend Lori Esterly, aunt, uncle, cousins, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Visitation will also take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation on Wednesday at the church at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow the service and private family burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
The family wished to extend special thanks to the staff at SSM/St. Agnes ICU for their care and compassion shown towards Ron and family.
