Annville, PA

Ronald Jacob "Pappy" Nagle, 82, of Annville, passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born August 28, 1943 to the late Herbert and Mary (Bomgardner) Nagle. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carol Diane (Goss) Nagle, since 1991, and his longtime companion Judy A. Ellis, since 2016.

A lifelong farmer, he understood the value of tending to the land and animals. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and was an accomplished woodworker who could turn simple pieces of lumber into something both beautiful and useful.

Whether in the workshop or the barn, Ronald was most at home when he was creating or repairing. More than anything he enjoyed his farm animals and being at the Auctions, especially Roots and Green Dragon.

Over the years, he wore many hats. He drove a school bus and was a self-employed milk truck driver. He also worked various janitorial jobs, including at the 76 Truck Stop in Manada Hill, where he was known for his dedication.

Beyond his many jobs and talents, Ronald’s greatest pride was his family. He was a loving father and a devoted grandfather who treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children; Christine Tashima and husband Kenshin and Timothy Nagle and companion Heather Kline; and grandchildren, Tobitaka, Bryce, Carter, Kade, and Trenton. He was predeceased by his brothers, Elvin and twin Donald Nagle.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at noon at Bellgrove United Methodist Church, 1530 PA-934 Annville, PA 17003. A time of viewing will be held from 11 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.FinkenbinderFamily.com
