February 13, 1951— March 10, 2026
Harrisburg, PA
Ronald J. Neumann, 75, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Born on February 13, 1951, in West Babylon, New York, to the late William and Elena (Arfsten) Neumann, Ron graduated from West Babylon High School before earning a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Cornell University. He went on to own and operate Ron Neumann Sales, where his deep love of trees and the outdoors became both his livelihood and his passion. Known for his expertise and generosity with his knowledge, he took genuine pleasure in educating customers and sharing his enthusiasm for the natural world.
Ron shared more than forty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kathleen. Together they built a warm and loving family life filled with laughter. After retiring from his business, he remained active, working part-time for Unique Limousine in Harrisburg until his health declined. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting sporting clays, watching Star Trek and James Bond films, and spending quiet hours in nature. Over the past two years, Ron found a meaningful connection at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Harrisburg, where he attended with his son and developed a deep appreciation for its traditions. He often encouraged family and friends to visit and experience the church that had become so important to him.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Neumann, and Christine Neumann and her husband, John Constantine; his grandson, Vladimir J. Constantine; his brother, Bill Neumann; and his nephew, Ross Neumann. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Neumann, on June 30, 2024.
