Ronald Easton ObituaryPublished by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 17, 2026.Ronald Glenn Easton was born on December 4, 1945, to Lois (Hamilton)Easton and Glenn Dean Easton. He attended Stern Brunson Elementary growing up. He was the 1st born to Lois and Glenn. Ron graduated from Benton Harbor high school graduation 1963.After graduation Ron had several jobs among them were KFC, Continental Can, Goldblatt's, and Hughes Plastics. He met Carole Newton at Hughes Plastics, he said when she took off the engagement ring she had been wearing, he decided to ask her out and was the 1st of many. They married in July of 1966.He shortly after being married entered the US Air Force. Ron, once he got out of the military, went back to work, but used his VA benefits to get an education and went to Lake Michigan College and then off to Western where he received his degree. In 1975 they received good news, they were expecting another child. Melanie was born in June 1975. He worked at Whirlpool for the next 35 years. He is survived by his daughter Anne Dykstra of Portage. He lost his wife Carole Easton in 2021 and daughter Melanie in 2025. Memorial has been planned for March 28th, from 12-2 pm at Weko Beach and Campground at 5239 Lake St. Bridgman MI 49106 at the lake house.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
