Ronald C. May, 90, of Johnstown, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on November 4, 1935, in Lloydell, he was the son of the late Chester E. and Jean (Burns) May. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary A. May, and his sister, LaVonne L. “Bonnie” Learn.
Ron proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In life, he and his wife, Colleen (Coughhenour) May, built and operated a successful painting and wallpaper business together, creating a lasting legacy of hard work and partnership.
He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen; their children, Deborah (James), Ron Jr. (Edith), Gary (Jeannie), Tim (Kathy), and Darlene (Jason); step-children, Tacy, Tisha (Henry), and Clete (Elizabeth); and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, there were no visitation or funeral services.
