Ronald C. Keiper, Sr.

Ronald C. Keiper, Sr., 86, of Stroudsburg, passed away on the morning of March 5, 2026 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House-Pocono in East Stroudsburg. He was the devoted husband of the late Lillian (Miller) Keiper, who predeceased him on July 21, 2013.

Born on May 30, 1939 in East Stroudsburg, Ron was the son of the late Roger and Helen (VanHorn) Keiper. A lifelong resident of Monroe County, he worked for many years at Kulp’s Foundry until his retirement.

He is survived by his two children, JoAnn LaBar of Stroudsburg and Ronald C. Keiper, Jr. of Kunkletown; four grandchildren, Marie Burns and her husband Mischa, Larissa Keiper, Charles LaBar, Jr., and Sharon Keiper; three great-grandchildren, Lydia, Patrick, and Bella; a brother, Clyde Keiper; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Katherine Widdoss Smith, Lou Lou Dickison, Roger Keiper, Walter J. Keiper, Edgar Keiper, and Marcel Keiper.

Burial will take place at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
