It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Blackmon of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughter Brigitte Robinson (Scott) of Asheville; his grandson Urijah Robinson of Asheville; and his siblings, Diane O'Dell (Joe) of Easton, PA, Debora Howard of Mill Spring, NC, Donna Westall (Dennis) of Old Fort, NC, Richard Blackmon (Elizabeth) of Chuckey, TN, Susan Morrow (Patrick) of Boise, ID, Sharon Roberts of Seatac, WA and Mary Jackson (Todd) of Milll Spring, NC..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Edgewood Baptist Church (61 Moody Ave, Candler, NC 28715). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
