Ronald A. Shaw, Sr.

Ronald Allen Shaw, Sr., 83, of Asheboro, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Piedmont Crossing Retirement Community in Thomasville.

Born on August 24, 1942, in Randolph County, Ronald was the son of the late Alvin Ernest Shaw and Treva Merle Callicutt Shaw. He retired from Hedgecock Builders Supply and remained a faithful member of High Pine Wesleyan Church, where he had served as a past board member. Ronald found deep satisfaction in working on and driving old cars, and he enjoyed attending festivals and listening to bluegrass music.

Preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Alvin Shaw, Ronald is survived by his wife, Carolyn Shaw; his son, Allen Shaw of Asheboro; his niece, Treva Henderson of Asheboro; and numerous cousins.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and friend whose quiet joys and steady presence left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
