He was predeceased by: his father Nestor Jokimaki; his sister Kathy Pearson; his father-in-law Gordon Gustafson; and his brother-in-law John Gustafson. He is survived by: his mother Edie Jokimaki; his wife Linda Gustafson of Shepard's Chapel; his children, JoAnn Davidson (Barry), Michelle Morsani (James II), Maggie Jokimaki (Nikko Jensen), Tony Jokimaki and Jesse Jokimaki (Brooke Nelson); his grandchildren, Morgan, Camryn, Tony Jr., Erik, James III, Kinsley and Coltan; his siblings, Barbie Lund (Mark), Randy Jokimaki (Carmen) and David Jokimaki (Raenese); his mother-in-law Estella Gustafson; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Gustafson (Sherry), Doug Gustafson, Jim Gustafson (Junell) and Dave Gustafson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Soo Line Event Center (900 Folz Blvd, Moose Lake, MN 55767). He played at nursing homes, community church services, and was well known for his music on Facebook, his You Tube Channel: Riverhill85, and his daily songs during Covid to continue to provide entertainment to people.
