Romen will be remembered as sincere, genuine and loving. He truly tried to live the words of Luke 10:27, loving Jehovah his God the best he could, and loving his neighbors—sometimes even more than himself. Romen was a giver, a listener, and a comforter. He was resilient, kind, and loved the truths found in the Bible, sharing them with others.

Although born in a small town, Romen was adventurous. He traveled and took pictures of the beautiful places he saw. He had such a deep appreciation for creativity and beauty, expressing it through drawing, painting, music, and photography. Creation was one of his favorite things and he enjoyed being in it.

Smart as a whip, he loved chess and could troubleshoot your computer with ease—then quote one of his favorite movie lines from 20 years ago. He had a great sense of humor and an incredible laugh.

Romen motivated, encouraged, and inspired those around him. He made everyone he met smile. What an infectious smile he had. Even if you didn't know him well, he was impossible not to love. The nicest person you could meet—handsome, well dressed in many opinions, and unforgettable.
