Roman Garcia Arredondo Sr., 67, of Weslaco, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at South Texas Health System in McAllen.
Preceded in death by his parents, Pascual and Francisca Garcia, two sisters, and one brother, Roman is remembered as a devoted family man who cherished the time spent with those closest to him.
He is survived by his partner, Esther Eurioles; his five children, Andrew (Rosa) Cavazos, Jennifer (Daniel) Garcia, Roman Garcia Jr., Ysela Garcia, and Michael (Alexa) Garcia; his seven grandchildren, Diego Cavazos, Fabian Cavazos, Danny Arriaga, Izaiah Arriaga, Deron Arriaga, Leo Arriaga, and Elliana Garcia; one brother; and five sisters.
His presence brought quiet strength and steadfast love to his family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
