Roger Warren ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Linden on Mar. 14, 2026.Funeral services for Mr. Roger Warren, 78, of Linden, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Cass County Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas. Burial will follow at New Colony Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.Roger was born April 22, 1947, in Linden, Texas, to Robert and Ruby Burchfield Warren. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star in recognition of his service, along with numerous marksmanship awards.Roger was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time spent with his family. Mr. Warren passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas with his family by his side.He is survived by his wife, Glenda Warren, whom he married October 12, 2006; his children, Lisa (Tim) Knowles, Jeff (Michelle) Warren, Elizabeth Warren, Emily (Cole) Cummings, Amanda (Marcos) Bullock, and Michael (Kellie) Sasser; and his brother Tim and (Debbie) Warren; grandchildren, Karoline and Kyra Knowles, Justin (Kaci) Warren, Jackson (Hannah) Warren, Christian Dawson, Addy and Parker Cummings, Maryann (Marshall) Stoner, and Josh Taylor. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Ruby Warren; one sister, Dean Rich; two brothers, Charles Warren and Michael Warren; one grandson, Chance Sasser; and one niece, Paula Boudreau.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
