He is survived by: his wife Janice Norris; his stepson Shawn McTyre of Nashville, TN.; his sons, Brandon Norris (Janet) of Trussville, AL. and Justin Norris of Remlap, AL.; and his sister Jane Norris Lemon of Huntsville, AL.. He is also survived by stepbrother Glenn Word; 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery (9392 Cedar Mountain Rd, Pinson, AL 35126). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Mt. Calvery Presbyterian Church (9392 Cedar Mountain Rd, Pinson, AL 35126).
