Roger R. Talbot

February 20, 1942 March 10, 2026

Douglas, MA

Roger R. Talbot, 84, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on February 20, 1942, he was the son of the late Roger R. Talbot and Katherine (Kane) Talbot. He graduated from Classical High School in Worcester in 1960 and later attended Worcester Junior College and Clark University. Roger proudly served in the Army National Guard and worked for many years as manager of the Organic Division of Bay State Abrasives in Westborough, having previously been employed by General Motors in Framingham.

A long-time resident of Douglas for 56 years, Roger raised his family there. He enjoyed golfing as a former member of Westborough Country Club, loved watching college basketball and football, and cherished regular lunches with his cousins. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family.

Roger was deeply devoted to his wife, Saundra V. Talbot (King), with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, celebrating their milestone anniversary last November. He is survived by their children Michelle Ebbeling and her husband Edward of Northbridge, Michael Talbot and his wife Joanna of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Christine Mitchell of Webster, and Kim Biddle and her husband Tim of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with two more expected in the coming months, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Paris Jordan, whose husband Michael Jordan survives her, and by his sisters Kathleen Nadeau of Worcester and Dorothy Keeler of Westborough. Roger will be remembered for his quiet strength, his steadfast devotion to his family, and the love and guidance he offered those closest to him throughout his life.
