Roger Francis King

Roger F. King, age 71 of Lake Orion, passed away on March 11, 2026. He was the son of the late Frank and Katharine King, and the beloved father of Rebecca (James) VanEeckhoutte, Roger (Alisha) King II, and James (Carly) King. Roger was a cherished grandpa to Renee (Jake), Nathan, Syvana, Adyson, and Parker, and a great-grandpa to Annabelle and John. He is also survived by his brother, Tim (Jeannie) King.

Roger found great joy on the golf course, where he appreciated both the challenge of the game and the company of family and friends. He had a lifelong passion for building and flying model airplanes and racing RC cars, hobbies that reflected his love of tinkering and mechanical curiosity. A creative spirit, he also expressed himself through painting, photography, and capturing meaningful moments and scenes with his camera.

Above all, Roger treasured the time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
