He is survived by: his children, Dawn Brown of Pontotoc, MS, Jason Brown of Tupelo, MS and Roger Brown Jr. (Amy) of Sherman, MS; his brother Gene Kennedy; and his nephew Forest Putman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tutor Funeral Home (270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
