He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Claude and Euma Pearl Harris (Tredway); his wife Jackie Charlene Harris; his brother Slaton Harris; his niece Tammy Harris; and his great-nephew Casey VanBeekum.

He is survived by: his children, Russell Harris and Laurie Harris; his grandchildren, Riley Harris, Ryan Harris (Kat Bigham), Tatum Hatfield, Allison and Brian Wilson; his great grandchildren, Avery Howard of Lubbock and Keely Harris of Lubbock; and his sister Sherry Pearce of O'Donnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many, close, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home - O'Donnell (510 8th St, O'Donnell, TX 79351). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (608 5th St, O'Donnell, TX 79351).
