Rodney Steven Biggs, 71, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away at his home on March 13, 2026.
Born on July 7, 1954, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, to the late Gobel Dwayne and Dolores (Snyder) Biggs, Rodney served his country as a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. He lived a life marked by quiet strength and steadfast devotion to his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Veronica Schwart; his sisters, Sharron (Dave) Lomax of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Eileen Gaddis of Hazelwood, Missouri, and Dolores (Kevin) Sapp of New Mexico; his brothers, Wayne Biggs of Collinsville, Illinois, Gary (Barbara) Biggs of Arizona, Richard (Ruth) Biggs of Florida, and Michael (Rene’) Biggs of Collinsville, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him with great affection.
