He was predeceased by: his father Mitchell G. Pershing; and his father-in-law Duane E. Ullery. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline M. Pershing (Banner); his wife Karen L. Pershing; his sister Michele Bates (Thomas) of South Bend, Indiana; and his mother-in-law Loretta M. Ullery. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Luminary Hospice or the family to help with medical expenses.
