Rodney C. Galaher

Rodney C. Galaher, 88, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2026. Born on November 1, 1937, in Washington, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell and Virginia (Hennen) Galaher. Rodney shared 58 devoted years with his beloved wife, Janet (Cavender) Galaher, who predeceased him in 2016.

He spent much of his career as a manager at Warner Press, bringing dedication and expertise to the printing industry. Rodney found joy in fishing, playing golf with his friends, and traveling to Florida with Janet, where they wintered in their condo. Along the way, they often paused to visit botanical gardens, savoring time together in nature. A skilled carpenter, he took pride in working with his hands and tackling projects around the home. Above all, he was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a cherished family man.

Rodney is survived by his daughters, Tina (Kevin) Lewton and Diane Johnston; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Lewis, Robert (Stephanie) Lewton, and Wesley Johnston; and four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Patience, Emma, and James.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Galaher, and his parents, Russell and Virginia Galaher.
