Rodney Bolick

Rodney Bolick of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on March 15, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Marcus and Sarah Lois Hollars Bolick. Rodney is survived by his wife, Wilma Chandler Bolick; his daughters, Michelle Bolick Hagaman (Johnny) and Dena Bolick Ford (Eric); his grandchildren, Jeremiah Ford, McKinley Hagaman, Dora Hagaman, Kyleigh Ford, and Madison Ford; his brother, Johnnie Marcus Bolick, Jr. (Linda); his nieces and nephews, Shawn Bolick (Cindy), Steven Chandler, Matthew Howell (Jessica), Brandi Warren (Jason), and Briana Scronce (Avery); and his aunts and uncles, Shirley Swanson (Ralph), Christine Bolick, Fannie Bryant, Wilma Sanders (Ned), Henry Hollars (Kathy), and Billy Hollars (Linda). He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

A lifelong resident of the area, Rodney was known for his quiet strength and deep devotion to his family. Those who knew him will remember the steady presence he offered to his wife, children, and grandchildren, and the lasting bonds he maintained with his extended family.
