She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leifester and Ada Clark; her stepfather John Bruno; her husband Clark Thornton; and her grandson Tyler James Thornton.

She is survived by: her children, Christie, David, Stephen, Ceanne, James and Cindy. She is also survived by grandchildren, 39 biological great grandchildren, and three great, great, granddaughters.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary (5850 S 900 E, Murray, UT 84121). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bountiful City Cemetery (2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010).
