Rocco Gannascoli

Rocco Gannascoli, affectionately known as Rocky 88, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his devoted family. Born on August 14, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, he was one of six children born to Nicholas and Concetta Gannascoli. He grew up in Gravesend, Brooklyn, where he spent most of his life before moving with his family to Old Bridge, New Jersey, for the final two years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Ronnie Gannascoli; his loving children, Roxanne Toledo and her husband Michael, RonnieJane Livoti and her husband Frank, and Rocco Gannascoli; his cherished grandchildren, Robert (Bobby), Raquel, Gianna, and Alana; and his adored great-grandchildren, Ariella, Lucas, Lunella, Rocky, Liliana, and Carlo.

A veteran with a lifelong passion for baseball and horse racing, Rocky was above all a devoted family man. He took greatest pride in his roles as husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Known as the heart of his family and the glue that held them together, he will be remembered for his love, quick humor, and the countless small moments that made him unforgettable. His presence, laughter, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
