Roberto Munoz
June 21, 1975— March 7, 2026
Weslaco, TX
Roberto Munoz, a loving husband and dedicated father, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Herman Memorial Texas Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1975, in San Benito, Texas, he was a man of strength and compassion who touched the lives of all who knew him.
A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Roberto devoted his career to caring for others in his community. His professional calling as a caretaker was equaled only by the deep love he held for his family. He and his wife of 24 years, Cynthia Munoz, shared a life centered on their three daughters, Victoria Aide, Alba Rebecca, and Leila Vianey Munoz. As a proud “Girl Dad,” he embraced his role as protector and guide, teaching his daughters the importance of kindness and resilience.
Warm and determined, Roberto was known as the peacemaker who saw the good in everyone. Intelligent and hardworking, he approached life with a calm yet assertive presence that earned the respect of all who met him. To his family he was the ultimate caregiver, always ready to help when someone felt unwell. His forgiving and generous heart, grounded in faith and positivity, was perhaps most evident in his backyard, where he loved gathering loved ones to share his famous BBQ pork ribs.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Munoz and Olga Gonzalez, Roberto leaves behind his wife Cynthia and their three daughters. His legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength will continue through everyone whose life he touched.
