Roberto E. Orozco

Roberto E. Orozco

Norwalk, CT

Roberto E. Orozco passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by loved ones at Norwalk Hospital. A proud Costa Rican, he was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Born in Costa Rica in November 1962, Roberto carried the warmth, spirit, and joy of his homeland with him throughout his life. He came to the United States in June of 1980 and made his home in Norwalk, Connecticut, where he built a life centered on hard work, loyalty, and above all, his family. Extremely intelligent and a true jack of all trades, Roberto could learn and master nearly anything he set his mind to—whether fixing cars, renovating homes, solving problems with his hands, or helping those around him—all approached with determination and pride. He worked for Ford for 20 years and later for Maclaren Group and LaserPerformance for nearly 19 years.

Those who knew him will remember his joyful spirit, his humor, his stubborn streak, and his generous heart. He loved music, soccer, good conversation, and spending time with his family and friends. Nothing meant more to him than his children.

Roberto is survived by his wife, Miryam Orozco; his four children, José Javier Jimenez and partner Georgia, Danilo Ernesto Orozco and partner Brian, Juan Pablo Orozco and girlfriend Nicole, and Sophia Orozco; his siblings, Maria Dobles and husband Mario, Antonio Orozco and wife Rosa, Alejandrina Castro and husband William Benavides, and Bernal Orozco and wife Rebecca; and twelve nieces and nephews. His love, laughter, spirit, and legacy will live on through his children and all those whose lives he touched.
