Roberta Marie Taylor

Roberta Marie Taylor, age 70, primarily of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2026, at River Grove Health and Rehab in Loudon, Tennessee. Born on March 11, 1956, to the late Robert and Beatrice Hamel, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing sports and cherished quiet moments with the people closest to her. Known for her wonderful sense of humor and her gift for making others laugh, Roberta placed her family above all else.

She is survived by her daughters, Jody Reese and her other daughter; her grandchildren, Isabella Gates (Guy Ratledge), Latasha Reese, Kasandra Costa, and Eddie Costa; and her cherished great-grandchild, Genesis Ratledge. She also leaves behind three brothers and two sisters, all of New York, as well as her former companion, David Reese, who continued to hold her dear.

Roberta will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will gather for a private memorial at a later date.
