Roberta “Bobi” (Martin) Linden
Bobi passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Homestead of Halstead, Halstead, Kansas. She was born on February 2, 1952, to Robert and Bessie (Harris) Martin. She graduated from Dighton High School with the class of 1970, and then attended Brown Mackie College. She was a long-time employee of First National Bank, Dighton. Bobi was well-known for her fabulous chocolate chip cookies.
Bobi was mother to Ryan (Jennifer) Speer of Sedgwick, Kansas, and Eric (Sara) Speer of Dodge City, Kansas. She was grandmother to Alton, Evan, Cooper, and Jagger.
Bobi was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Craig Martin; sister, Debbie Seybold; and nephew, Randy McElwain. She is survived by her children and grandchildren; sister, Chris (Dan) Mumma; step-father, John Heath; and many nieces and nephews..
Per Bobi’s wishes, no services are planned. Bobi was a lover of horses and had volunteered with Reins of Hope Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Reins of Hope at 2116 N. Obee Rd, Hutchinson, Kansas, 67502.
