Roberta L. Smith

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta L. Smith of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roberta may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Jane Scott; her husband Terry'Steve'Steven Smith; and her granddaughter Jacey Blanton. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Scott (Gail) of Howard, OH and Gearald M Blanton Jr. of Statesville, NC; and her grandchildren, Taylor Kaufman (Thomas) of Mount Vernon, OH, Riley Jones (Elissa) of Mount Vernon, OH, Josh Jones of Mount Vernon, OH, Trevor Jones of Mount Vernon, OH and Hayden Blanton of Brinkhaven, OH.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall (189 Mansfield Ave, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
