Flint, MI
Robert Wayne “Bob” Roe passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born on December 11, 1959, in Flint, Michigan, to Eugene and Sharon (Kidder) Roe, Bob lived a life defined by passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to family.
A skilled freelance welder, Bob took pride in his craftsmanship and strong work ethic. He was an active member of the Scorpions Motorcycle Club, where he found lasting camaraderie. He cherished riding his 2000 Harley Sportster and enjoyed spending time tinkering in his garage, shooting handguns, fishing, and hunting. These pursuits reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors and hands-on activities.
Bob possessed a commanding personality and was known for his direct manner, yet those closest to him treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, creating memories his family will carry for generations. His proudest accomplishment remained his marriage to Brenda on August 18, 1988, a union that brought him enduring happiness.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Roe; his children, Michael (Samantha) Nichols, Alisha (Jeffery) DeWitt, Summer Roe, and Rachel (Jimmy) VanWormer; and his cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Ryleigh, and Megan Nichols; Damean, Alexis, Brody, and Carah Rushing; Zayvier, Trezdyn, and Azralyn DeWitt; and Erica and Zachary VanWormer. His faithful dog Tator was also a beloved member of the family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Sharon Roe, and his brother, Eugene Roe.
